King Wins Bass Fishing League South Carolina Division On Lake Wateree

WHAT: Wayne King of Sumter, S.C., caught a 5-bass limit weighing 21 pounds, 1 ounce Saturday, June 22, 2010 to win $3,804 in the FLW BFL South Carolina Division tournament on Lake Wateree. Under cloudy skies King was fishing around docks in shallow grass using a jig with a zoom trailer to sack his limit.

WHAT: Kenneth Moore of Fort Mill, S.C., caught a 5-bass limit weighing 17 pounds, 4 ounces Saturday, June 22, 2010 to win $1,902 in the FLW BFL South Carolina Co-angler Division on Lake Wateree. Moore was using top water swimbaits in shallow grass to bag his limit.

NOTES: The next BFL South Carolina Division tournament is scheduled for Sept. 11-12, at Lake Wyle in Lake Wylie, S.C. After the fifth South Carolina Division tournament is complete, the top 40 boaters and co-anglers based on point standings will qualify for the Regional Championship at Lake Guntersville in Scottsboro, Ala.,on Oct. 14-16, for a chance to win a 198VX Ranger boat with a 200-horsepower Evinrude or Yamaha outboard and a Chevy pick-up, co-anglers will fish for a new Ranger 198VX.
