Kyle Nitshke & Jason Bonds Win On Conroe

AQ Conroe Team #3

The fish were on the beds on beautiful Lake Conroe !!! With a light breeze and sunshine pretty much all day,  it was an awesome day for fishing. There were 21 teams that came out to fish the 3rd Anglers Quest Team Tournament on lake Conroe only 7 limits were caught, 83 fish, 277.49 lbs and that made an average fish weight of 3.34 lbs. There was over $5,000.00 up for grabs……

Stop him from catching the fifth place stringer of 17.02 lbs and winning $445.00 for his day on the water. Way to get it done Sir !!!

Rick Bearden & Jason James took home the last place money of $210.00 for their sixth place finish with a limit weighing 15.03 lbs. You guys are awesome !!!

There are a few rumors going around and have been brought to my attention. Whether they are true or not, I’m not sure. But let me make a few things clear on Conroe (or any tournament that I hold). It is NOT OK  to get out of your boat to locate fish. It is NOT OK to have someone else on the bank locating fish for you, telling you where to flip or when to jerk. It’s just NOT cool, it’s just NOT rightYou will be disqualified. ( Refer to rule number 1 on the website).

Now, as far as the docks at Stowaway, I have decided to lift the off limits on the docks at Stowaway Marina. Just DO NOT block the boat ramp or gas dock, that will still be off limits.  But the rest of the docks will be open to fish for the rest of the Anglers Quest events.

I would like to thank the Anglers Quests Sponsors; Crawford Technical Services, Superior Paint Works,  E S I Fire & Security, Vincent Turf Farms, Lake Houston Tire, FishingWorld.com, Lakecaster Magazine, Lake Houston Marina , Cunningham’s Kickapoo Bait & Tackle, LakeView RV Motel & Grocery, Stowaway Marina, and Denali Rods.
