The day started with thunder, lightning and rain. but that all went away and it turned out to be a beautiful day to fish here on Lake Houston.
Twelve individuals came out to participate in the fifth of eight individual tournaments. Larry Cotton took 1st place with 5 bass weighing 12.91 lbs. He took home the first place check for $430.00. Greg Crawford of Crawford came in second with 5 fish that weighed 11.47lbs. Greg took home the second place check for $185.00. and third place was held by Raymond Minchew with 5 that weighed 10.33lbs. Steven Nieto had the biggest bass of the day, it weighed 5.20lbs. and he won $60.00 for that one bite.
