Last Minute Catch Proves to Be A Real Super Lunker

Lake O.H. Ivie produces a Super Big Bass to end the Share -A-Lunker season for 2010.

Hot off the lake, Tommy Hagler owner of the West Texas Tournament Trail and Hag’s Tornado Baits just sent Fishingworld.com the news blast that a 16.02 pounder, caught by Jerry Bales of Hico, Texas was landed and weighed about an hour ago on Lake O. H. Ivie.

Texas Parks and Wildlife – Freshwater Fisheries Division from Athens, Texas will be picking up the fish and will make the official announcement once the fish has been certified as a Texas ShareALunker for 2010.

This sure makes an exciting end for the 2010 Texas Share-A-Lunker Program and puts Lake O. H. Ivie in the “Hot” Fishing Lakes for 2010, producing 10 Share-A-Lunker’s this year.

The 2010 Texas Share-A-Lunker Program ends today, April 30, 2010.

I understand from the Grapevine, that there are several other fish on the way to Athens for certification, wonder what the Top Weight ShareA Lunker Fish will be for 2010? This has been a VERY GOOD YEAR.By: Fishingworld staff
