Lawry’s Adding Spice To Fishing With FLW Outdoors Sponsorship Renewal

FLW Outdoors announced today that Lawry’s is spicing up professional fishing by renewing its sponsorship of the organization’s six tournament trails. Lawry’s joined the FLW Outdoors sponsorship team in 2003 as the “Official Seasoning of the Wal-Mart FLW Tour.”

Lawry’s seasonings and marinades add flavor to any meal with simple techniques that can make ordinary fare extraordinary. These timesaving solutions are beneficial to the more than 52 million anglers who spend many mealtimes outdoors. During the 2005 season, Lawry’s will sponsor an FLW Tour pro who will compete in a NASCAR-like Ranger boat displaying the Lawry’s logo. The Lawry’s Live! Cooking Caravan will make appearances at select Family Fun Zone events that are set up at various FLW Outdoors tournament weigh-ins at Wal-Mart parking lots. The caravan will offer an interactive cooking show that demonstrates popular recipes and shares grilling secrets. Lawry’s will also be featured during FLW Tour events when its Lawry’s-branded Ranger boat takes a professional angler to his hot spot during the last two days of competition. Through its sponsorship, Lawry’s will be able to use the “Official Sponsor of FLW Outdoors” logo on its packaging.
