Lew’s announces that sales organization Tim Bailey and Associates has been contracted for Lew’s sales responsibilities in the group’s regional territory of Texas and Louisiana, effective immediately.
Lew’s District Sales Manager Mike Mitchell, who has been handling all sales efforts in the two-state area since 2011, will oversee the Bailey team that consists of fishing industry veterans Michael Mooney, Greg Bunnell and David West. West is a new addition to the staff.
“Tim Bailey’s team has an outstanding reputation and I have full confidence that Michael and the guys will provide a heightened level of ground support to keep dealers updated with the latest information regarding Lew’s products and promotions,” said Mitchell. “This region has a huge Lew’s following and we intend to grow it even more through excellent products and outstanding service.”
“We’ve watched Lew’s grow to become the No. 1 brand in our territory, so we couldn’t be happier than to now bring Lew’s products to our customers,” said Mooney. “We’re looking forward to continuing the great work that Mike initiated for Lew’s in Texas and Louisiana, and to making sure that all fishermen in our area have access to Lew’s products everywhere they live and fish.”
Lew’s popularity has been on a continuous steep rise following a re-launch of the brand in 2009 with a steady stream of all-new products ever since.
Even before Lew’s departed the annual ICAST fishing tackle tradeshow last July with three “Best of Show” awards, Lew’s officials were optimistic that its 2017 new product lineup containing those items was its “best ever.” That is appearing to be the case as various models of the award-winning Lew’s SLP Super Low Profile baitcast reels; Mach II baitcast and spinning reels, rods and combos; and innovative new Speed Stick rod series are seeing the ultimate proof of acceptance: brisk movement at retail.
“It’s fun to have products that people seek and provide positive feedback about once purchased, and we’re seeing that throughout our newest items,” added Mitchell. “Our focus on new product introductions is ongoing and we’ll be debuting Lew’s new Mach II Speed Spools at the upcoming Bassmaster Classic right here in Texas, next month in Houston.”
Tim Bailey and Associates has a sales network that covers 29 states and all Canadian Provinces. The regional Bailey group’s office is in Fort Worth, Texas, where Mooney serves as supervisor.
