Linda and Danny Carter Put Together Winning Stringer

On Sunday June 26, 2005 Linda and Danny Carter of Hernando, MS. were able to put together a five fish limit at Columbus Lake to win the third tournament of the year. They were able to overcome the fact that the lake had been sprayed to kill the grass that had gotten thick. This poison made the fish sick and some of their fish died, but they still managed a five fish lmit that weighed 13.40 lbs. This moved them to fourth in the overall YTD points for Anglers of the Year.

Linda said that this was the first tournament this year that she was able to catch fish and that she was glad to be able to help with this limit of fish. Linda and Danny are our #1 sponsor this year as owners of Sports of All Sorts in Hernando, MS. and we are very glad to be able to work with them.

2nd place went to Debbie and Mark Davis of Memphis, TN with five fish that weighed 8.65. 3rd went to Carol and Chris Smalley of Middleton, TN. with three fish that weighed 8.19 they also had big bass of the day at 4.13 lbs which got them the Hammer Rod for Big Bass. 4th place went to the couple of Tammy Burch and Ricky Parker of Hernando, MS. with four fish that weighed 6.98 lbs. Sandra and Charlie Jones of Lakeland, TN. got 5th place and were rewarded with a bag of Strike King Baits that were given away by Team Trails of Mississippi.

We want to thank all our couples and hope to see all of them at Tunica in JulyBy: Alicia/David Griffin, Directo
