Magnum Opus™ Vacuum Toliet Now In Low-Profile Design

Four Designer Colors, Choice Of Trim Finish Available

To accommodate raised platform installations, the advanced Magnum Opus™ premium, one-piece, all-china vacuum toilet will be available in a new, low-profile design for boat manufacturers in January 2002.

Measuring three inches (76mm) shorter than the original version, the

low-profile Magnum Opus toilet has a height of 14 inches (356mm) from the mounting surface to the top of the toilet seat.

To complement a more diverse range of interior décor, all Magnum Opus models

will also be available in SeaLand’s full range of popular designer colors.

These include white, bone, ebony and teal. The flush handle and other

metallic trim can be chrome or polished gold, providing a choice of

sparkling accents to the lustrous vitreous china fixture.

With its all-china residential styling, the Magnum Opus toilet matches the

appearance of today’s most popular household toilets. And by combining Flush

and Forget(tm) electronically timed performance with SeaLand’s proven flush

valve mechanism, boat owners now can enjoy the same operating simplicity

provided by traditional household toilets.

Magnum Opus toilets can flush with as little as one pint (.5 l) of fresh

water per flush. When compared to manual toilets that can use more than one

gallon (3.8 l) per flush, Magnum Opus toilets can increase holding tank

capacity by up to 400 percent. And as with all SeaLand VacuFlush® sanitation

systems, the Magnum Opus toilet uses fresh water, which eliminates odors

associated with a seawater flushing system.

Magnum Opus vacuum toilets feature an elongated HushFlush(tm) wooden seat

for superior user comfort and whisper-quiet operation. They also include

important features that make operating and maintaining the all-china toilet

easier than ever:

Multiple Pre-set Water Levels – “Low” setting keeps residual water in bowl to a minimum; “Mid” and “High” settings provide a water surface similar to household toilets.

Convenient “Add Water” Feature – The dual-function flush handle is used to add water to bowl before flushing if needed, as well as to activate

flushing.

Anti-splash Rim – Keeps water in the bowl while underway.

Flush Valve Sensor – Automatically stops flush valve from closing during operation if foreign object prevents normal operation.

Service Mode – Keeps the flush ball open and shuts the water off to allow easy access to the bowl and flush valve seal for cleaning.

Easy-access Seat Bolts – Allow the seat to be adjusted easily if

necessary.
