Built with a graphite rotor and body, oversized bail wire, graphite handle and rubber grip, the Avocet Silver can handle tough fishing conditions. The Avocet Silver has three stainless steel ball bearings plus one roller bearing and an oil felt drag system, making it a smooth, light operator.
Now even lighter, the Avocet Silver has weights ranging from 6.6 ounces to 9.8 ounces. With gear ratios that consists of 5.2:1 and 5.4:1, the Avocet Silver comes in five sizes of reels: 500, 1000, 2000, 3000 and 4000 models. The 1000 and 2000 models are also available with Rapid Rear Drag configuration for quick easy adjustments to drag setings.
Avocet Silver spinning reels 500, 1000 and 2000 will also be offered in a combo option for anglers looking to add a quality rod n reel set to their fishing gear.
