My favorite – a floating worm

You know in the spring, probably my favorite bait, pre-spawn all the way through post-spawn, is a Gambler floating worm. I’ll work it around cover after putting a slight bend in the worm. You can use a #3 ought Owner all set worm hook and with a slight bend it gives good action. A back and forth really erratic action is really what you’re looking for. I use bright colors to fish, as it’ll help you to see the bait better. It’ll also help you know when you have a strike and you’ll catch more fish.By: Walker Agency
