That’s exactly what Elizabeth Parker did when she and Don Brown hit the water Sunday Morning. Elizabeth’s 2.55 LB Smallmouth was the crowning glory on their 5 fish, 6.10 Lb stringer, netting them First Place, Big Bass and a check for $584.00 in the last C.A.S.T./North tournament of the year.
John Bills & Brenda Reeves fished main lake points with Carolina-rigged French fries and boated a 5 fish limit of Blacks and Smallies. They brought to the scales a second place stringer that weighed in at 5.70 LBS.
The overall fishing at lake Bridgeport was great! 97 percent of our teams weighed fish and all of our teams reported catching lots of fish, several reported catching 5 or more in the 14 – 18 inch slot and returning them to the water. No fish over the slot limit were weighed in. Most teams reported catching fish on several varieties of baits. The most popular selections consisted of Flukes, Spinnerbaits, Crankbaits and French Fries.
