Plano Returns As Key Sponsor Of Popular KVD Fan To Famr Challenge

Kevin VanDam and Plano Pony Up Unique Opportunities For Fans At Bassmaster Classic Expo

The 2016 Bassmaster Classic Outdoor Expo is bigger and better than ever, offering fans a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to interact with their favorite pros. And, as is often the case, Plano pro Kevin VanDam – the bionic basser himself – is leading the charge in fan interaction with the latest installment of his wildly popular KVD Fan to Fame Challenge.

Throughout the Classic Expo, participating fans visit the booths of KVD’s biggest sponsors and “check in” using their unique KVD lanyard and automatically register for exciting prizes at each booth. Fans who check in at each booth are entered for the grand prize, which includes behind-the-scenes Classic access and an unforgettable ride around the arena during the final day weigh-in with KVD himself. Fans are encouraged to visit the KVD booth early in the show to get signed up.

As an annual sponsor of the KVD Fan to Fame Challenge, Plano will up the ante by giving away Stowaway Series boxes to the first 100 fans who visit the Plano booth each day of the Expo. Also, each day a drawing will be held to determine the winner of a unique, KVD Series Plano Tackle Bag.

But Plano’s fan incentives don’t stop there. During the Classic Expo, fans can stop by and visit with other top Plano pros, including John Murray, Brent Chapman, Dale Stroschein, Stephen Browning, Hank Parker, Bill McDonald and more.

While at the Plano booth, fans can also get their first views of all the new Plano tackle storage products, like the A-Series and M-Series tackle bags. These classic, rugged and innovative tackle management systems feature new storage concepts, features and aesthetics never before seen in the tackle industry, making anglers much more efficient.

Plano A-Series

Plano’s all-new A-Series of tackle storage products is a premium and distinctive line of innovative designs, each combining high-quality materials with clean and rugged aesthetics.  An adventurous shade of olive drab adorns a unique and proprietary polyester construction material with a water resistant lining, giving each A-Series tackle bag a sturdy feel with a classically clean and rugged look that will appeal to any angler.

The new A-Series 3600 and 3700 size QuickTop Tackle Bags headline the series, looking and functioning like no other tackle bag ever built, thanks to a hybrid design that places a durable and sleek, molded ABS lid atop a richly-featured soft tackle bag.

In addition to the two QuickTop Tackle Bags, Plano’s new A-Series includes a Tackle Backpack, a Tackle Duffel, and a 3600 Tackle Bag, providing the discriminating angler with a comprehensive and premium system for tackle storage and transportation.

Plano M-Series

Less is least. More is Plano’s new M-Series… more features, more quality components, mesmerizing aesthetics, and maximum capacity. The all-new M-Series bags are striking in olive green with cerulean blue accents, and include 3600 and 3700 sizes of core M-Series Tackle Bags, as well the M-Series Messenger Bag and M-Series Hydro-Flo™ Tackle Bag. These are magnum-caliber offerings from the masters of tackle management, merging voluminous interiors with a sexy signature look.

 PLANO FISHING

A tradition of excellence. Owning a Plano® tackle box has become a heritage that has endured for more than half a century. In 1952, Plano introduced the first molded plastic tackle box. For the next fifty years, the Plano brand found its way into the hearts and hands of four generations. Today, there’s a 4 in 5 chance that if you own a tackle box, it was made by Plano. There are many reasons why consumers choose Plano, including quality, durability and innovation, but our favorite is “It’s what my dad always used.”
