Ranger Boats Includes Top-Quality 17-Foot 5-Inch Boat in New VS Premium Series

Ranger Boats new 2002 VS Series includes the 175VS, a 17-foot 5-inch model loaded with design features and standard equipment aimed at putting it a step above any other bass boat in its class.

“We are introducing the new VS Series to offer bass anglers premium quality at a great value,” Ranger Boats President Randy Hopper said. “The 175, 185 and 195VS models are designed to deliver tournament performance with all the convenience, durability and quality expected in every Ranger boat.”

Rated from 90 to 130 horsepower, the 175VS is offered with a single or dual console. The hull of the 175VS is filled with zone-tempered fiberglass to assure a quieter, safer ride. The exclusive “Rite Track” keel, along with an integrated 10-inch engine setback, allows for optimum maneuverability and reduced backwash from sudden shutdowns.

With a wide-open 87-inch beam, the 175VS has a spacious interior with ample storage. There are two 7-foot rod boxes (the port box features a rod organizer) in the front deck. Multi-purpose, gel-coat-lined storage boxes are located in both the front and rear decks. These wide boxes are constructed of reinforced fiberglass and equipped with drains so they can double as coolers.

Located in the center of the rear deck is an oversized livewell that includes recirculating aeration, easy-clean filter screens and a removable divider.

Just a few of the standard features on the 175VS include a Minn Kotaโ€œ Maxxumโ€˜ 12-volt trolling motor, 160 Garminโ€œ depth finder with temperature probe and R3500 RangerTrail trailer.
