Our first tournament was held on Lake Bruin in LA. and we had 7 couples fish. The weather was bad from the time we started until we finished with rain, wind and even hail. All but 2 couples caught fish and they were all released alive. There were 15 fish caught with a total weight of 27.20lb.
Renee and Tac Caruthers won with 8.66lb and Renee was the first one to put a fish in the boat (way to go Renee). Kathleen and Jim Lynn came in second with 6.80lb and also got big fish weighing 3.10lb. We want to congratulate them because this is the first time they have gotten a check with this Trail.
Welcome to a new couple this year Sandy and Monty Fletcher that enjoyed fishing even in the bad weather and is looking forward to the next one.
Our next tournament will be April 9th on Bee Lake and all couples are welcome.
