Skeeter Launches New WX2100 Deep V Series – Company Builds on Success in Walleye Market

The WX2100 is a full two-feet longer that its “little brother,” the WX1880, first introduced in 2005.This increase in length added 18″ to the fishing deck, which includes rod locker storage that can easily accommodate 8′ rods.The deck also includes plenty of storage space for tackle and gear, with a flat surface floor in the storage compartment, allowing tackle boxes to lay flush. The bow features a step-up design with a standard lined insulated cooler, doubling as a step. Batteries are stored underneath the bow deck, with adequate space for three deep-cycle batteries and standard battery charger.

The WX2100 comes standard with a Minn Kota 80PD-PRO/AP/US2, 80 lbs. thrust trolling motor with removable mount, auto pilot, power drive and universal sonar.The trolling motor and Lowrance X-135 fish finder with NMEA 2000 Network Buss and Temperature Probe can both be utilized in comfort from the bow fishing chair. A large bow baitwell/livewell includes a control system with “fill,” “recirculate,” and “drain” modes.

The cockpit of the WX2100 features two sidewall rod storage compartments and rod shelves, which can accommodate trolling rods up to 10′ in length.The splashwell includes a fuel line pick-up for an optional kicker engine, which can be mounted on either side of the main engine.Owners can select from a tiller or remote control option for the kicker engine.In addition to Yamaha kicker engine options,owners can also choose reliable main power options from Yamaha, including the F250 or VZ300.

The WX2100’s dual console features hydraulic tilt steering, push button command center, including tachometer, speedometer, volt meter, fuel gauge, water pressure gauge, trim gauge and 12 Volt Acc. Dual bilge pumps and three fresh water fill pumps for the dual stern livewell and baitwell, as well as the single bow livewell/baitwell, can be controlled from the console.The console features a Lowrance X-135 fish finder, but is designed with plenty of extra space to mount one of the many new large GPS/Sonar units.Additionally, the WX2100 features a NMEA backbone wiring system to accommodate the addition of multiple GPS units while using one GPS module.

The WX2100 comes standard with a Skeeter tandem axle tube trailer with disc brakes, spare tire with carrier, ratchet tie downs, back-up lights, swing-away tongue, Skeeter aluminum wheels, color coordinated Euro-Step Polymer Fenders and torsion axles.

The WX2100 includes plenty of options, allowing you to personalize your boat to fit your needs.Options include a range of gel or flake colors, single console, wrap-around windscreen, AM/FM stereo with CD player, a host of electronics from Lowrance and Humminbird, Minn Kota 101 lbs. thrust trolling motor, rear trolling motor panel with six-gauge wiring system, Yamaha 8 HP kicker engine, remote control for kicker engine, Oxy-Max livewell aeration system, fishing chair with power pedestal, bike seat with power pedestal, handrails and boarding ladder.

The suggested MSRP for the WX2100 powered by a Yamaha F250 is $58,573.
