Skeeter Products, Inc. has upgraded its SL “Family Sport” Series, giving the popular line-up more standard features, while providing owners with a complete package for any on-the-water activity.
The SL Series, including Skeeter’s SL210, SL190 and SL180 now feature new upholstery on the bench seat, bucket seats, and front bow cushion. A new dash panel provides easy assess to gauges, and an added glove box is great for storing small items such as wallets, cell phones and sunglasses. A new stereo with iPod cable connector allows for great on-the-water entertainment.
In addition to incorporating more luxury, comfort and entertainment features into the SL Series line-up, Skeeter’s SL210 now features standard power from Yamaha’s new F225 – a 20″ short shaft four-stroke engine. According to Ben Jarrett, Skeeter’s National Sales Manager, “Yamaha’s new F225 provides the SL210 withthe performance curve that offers great low-end and mid-range punch,while not compromising top end speed. The SL210 will provide aperformance envelope that both the ski/wakeboard enthusiasts will love, and fishermen will appreciate the smooth overall ride and speed while offeringgreat fuel efficiency in a clean and quiet engine,” he says.
Yamaha’s F225 offers Variable Camshaft Timing, which provides the SL210 with great low-end and mid-range punch. The engine also features a large, water-encased muffler in the mid-section, and along with the Variable Camshaft Timing, allows the engine to breathe easy for maximum power and responsive performance.
The SL Series comes packed with standard features, including a walk-thru windshield, radio/CD player and four speaker stereo system, dual cable non-feedback tilt steering, fishing seats with 13″ extensions, bow panel with trolling motor receptacle and trim switch, dual coolers under the rear bench seat, twin 11-gallon rear livewells with control systems, and in-floor ski/rod storage compartment.
SL Series options include canopy top, rear sun pad, 1500 GPH bilge pump, electronics from Lowrance or Humminbird, trolling motors from Minn Kota or MotorGuide, foot throttle and pro trim, tilt hydraulic steering, as well as a host of trailer options.
