AQ 2016 Livingston Team championship
Jeff Stanley & Jimmy Emmons Jr. win the 2016 Livingston Anglers Quest Team Championship with a two day total weight of 33.63 lbs. On the first day they led with 17.13 lbs., including a 9.42 lb. big bass……..and they backed it up on day two with 5 fish that weighed 16.50 lbs., to win a total of $3,115.00……Jimmy reported catching their fish out of Jimmy’s Champion / Mercury boat / motor “Flipping Tx. rigged plastics in 1-2 ft of water. buzz bait early. South end of the lake Saturday. Kickapoo on Sunday and Their Big fish came on a Crank Bait”……..
CONGATULATIONS to Brian Sewell and Chip Sewell on winning Anglers of the Year!!! They also came in 2nd place with a 2 day total weight of 31.25 lbs. Winning them $1,895.00 for their 2 days on the water……
Third place was held by the team of Jimmy Cole & Tony King. They had a 2 day total weight of 26.16 lbs., and won a total of $1,075.00 for their efforts.
There were a total of 14 teams that fished this championship with a total payout of over SIX THOUSAND DOLLARS !!!!!
Thanks to Wayne Miller with Superior Paint Works and Mante’s Mexican Restaurant in Onalaska for an amazing dinner Friday night at the meeting.
Ya’ll look into fishing Anglers Quest in 2017. Come out and give these guys some competition. My name is Barbara Long and I’m offering you guys and gals a fair and honest Tournament Circuit with a decent payback. I love the Sport of Bass Fishing. I’m not trying to get rich, just trying to get by.
