This four map set profiles nearly one-million acres of productive water with all new research, biologicals, dozens of GPS coordinates highlighting proven fishing areas complete with the latest patterns and presentations. Fishing Hot Spots’ senior research editor Russ Warye said the months of work on these maps has paid off. “This is a body of water that deserves this kind of treatment. It’s the best product we’ve produced yet.” Cartographer Carol Weinberger has “redefined the mapping process,” Warye said.
These four-color Lake of the Woods maps are as easy-to-use, as they are to read, complete with detailed contours, two-minute lat/long grids on the Southeast, Northeast and Northwest sections and a five-minute grid on the Southwest. The grid scale is there to provide anglers the ability to plot coordinates right on the map.
In addition to being the only map available providing fishing information, Fishing Hot Spots included navigational aids such as the important buoys and the accompanying GPS waypoints. The map also details locations of the hundreds of islands dotting this tremendous fishery.
