Summertime Patternsâ¦.

Hi, this is Mark Burgess, Team Yamaha Pro. One of my favorite things to do, summertime patterns for the most part up here in the northeast you don’t get a lot of fishing time, so summertime makes up the majority of our fishing time.

Really 3 basic baits you need, 3 patterns, one would be a top water, any kind of pop bar, sour spook, you know chugging spit, anything like that. You know buzz bait especially, buzz baits work incredible up here in the northeast, especially during those bright sunny days. White puffy clouds with a little breeze, you’ll catch more fish than if it’s cloudy and raining on that bait.

Some kind of a soft plastic worm, a lot of guys have gotten away from Texas rigging, you know 6-8 inch worms, but they work really well up here. And the shallow diving crank bait, you know wiggle wart, baby minus one, anything like that works very very well.By: Walker Agency
