Larry and Carol McMinimy brought in 4 keepers for a first place winning weight of 6.35 lbs. They received a check for $310.00 and a plaque. Jeff and Elizabeth Anderson took second place with a weight of 5.20 lbs., a check for $200.00 and a plaque. Bobby and Rita Wilson took third place and Big Bass with a weight of 2.20 lbs. They received a plaque and a check for $50.00.

C.A.S.T. Classic is just around the cornor. September 14, 15, and 16 on Choke Canyon. 250 points is needed to qualify for this tournament. There are 14 teams who have qualified. Congradulations!
If you plan on fishing the Classic we need your $150.00 registration fee by August 10. The top 6 teams and big bass of the year will receive plaques at the Friday night banquet. You must fish the Classic to receive you plaque. There is no off limits for prefish of Choke Canyon. Enclosed is a list of guides if you wish to hire one. Guide trips are recommended after Aug 1. You will receive further information about the Classic schedule from Tommy and Barbara Taylor as the time approaches.
Hotel rooms are still available at the Executive Inn under Cast Central, for three nights Thursday Sept. 13, Friday the 14, and Saturday the 15. Phone # 361-786-3563. When you call ask for one of these rooms. Reserve only the nights you need. We will release all rooms not reserved by a couple through the hotel on Sept. 1, 2001.
