Actor Clint Howard, who began his career on The Andy Griffith Show, will appear on ESPN2’s Beat Charlie Moore Saturday, Feb. 14 at 7:30 a.m. ET. Moore and Howard fish from float tubes in a small pond on a golf course followed by a game of wiffle ball. Some of Howard’s other screen appearances include Backdraft, Cocoon, Parenthood and Apollo 13, all directed by older brother and Oscar-winner Ron.
Spanish Fly’s adventure to the Seychelle Islands in the Indian Ocean returns Sunday, Feb. 15, at 9:30 a.m. with part three of four. ESPN Outdoors personality and host Jose Wejebe takes viewers bottom fishing for groupers out of the coral reefs and multiple unidentified species.
Cyril Chauquet, host of ESPN2’s Fishing Adventurer, explores the Red Sea and the Nile River in Africa on Sunday, Feb. 15, at 8:30 a.m. Chauquet fishes the pristine crystal clear waters of the Red Sea for predatory fish and searches the waters of the Nile for one of the world’s largest fresh water game fish, the Nile perch.
Bassmaster Elite Series pro Byron Velvick of Del Rio, Texas, travels to Jensen Beach, Fla., for this Sunday’s Going Coastal at 9 a.m. Velvick is guided by local Captain George Godz inshore fishing for grouper and snook, just a few of the hard-fighting species caught for the show.
ESPN Outdoors Saltwater Sunday has new episodes of Poveromo’s World of Saltwater Fishing from the Bahamas at 7:30 a.m., and the Best of Offshore Adventures looks back at their Puerto Vallarta, Mexico trip at 8 a.m.
A Day on the Lake, airing Saturday, Feb. 14, at 8 a.m. on ESPN2, takes Bassmaster Elite Series pro Britt Myers of Lake Wylie, S.C., to a mystery lake where he has one day to catch a fish.
