What to Expect

Lake Champlain has played host to several national bass tournaments in recent years with 20-24 lb. daily five fish limits not uncommon. Anglers can explore the waters in and around Historic Fort Ticonderoga for the plentiful largemouth bass or venture to more northern areas of the lake in search of smallmouth bass. No matter what species they cast for this tournament is sure to deliver plenty of excitement and rod bending action for every competitor.

While not on the water or at the weigh-in this area offers plenty to see and do; The Bicentennial Park & LaChute Waterfalls, Cook Mountain Trail, Five Nations Golf, Fort Ticonderoga & the Historic Walking Trail, Frasier Bridge, Kings Garden, Ticonderoga Dog Park, Ticonderoga Country Club & Golf Course, Northern Lake George Paddle, Area Farmers Market, the Ticonderoga Heritage Museum and many other area attractions.
