I’m Carroll Hagood, a member of Team Yamaha. A lot of times I’ve found that you can tune a crank bait to run right, we tune them to make them run straight. But if you’ve tuned a bait by bending the eye that you’ve tied the line into to the rat with the lure facing you, the bait will run to the right. And you can tune it where it will run up under a dock instead of trying to tune it where it runs straight. You can have a bait where when you fish a dock, you can tune it where it will run right under a dock. Then you can have another rod with an identical bait, tuned to where it runs left. As you wind it down the dock, it actually will go up under the dock and around the post. This will catch you more fish a lot of the days.By: Walker Agency
