On Sunday, June 13, 2004 Wendy and Tommy Pickett of Bartlett, TN. continued on their winning ways at Lake Ferguson, by bringing five bass that weighed 15.29 lbs to the scales for their third win of the year. They have a good lead in the Angler of the Year race, but the last two lakes for the year are slot lakes which can be tough.
Second place at Ferguson was Teresa & Bill Jones of Bartlett, TN. with four bass that weighed 10.86 lbs. In 3rd place was Linda & Tim Beale of Hernando, MS. with five bass that weighed 10.55 lbs. Taking 4th place was Angel & Ron Bosarge of Coldwater, MS. with five bass that weighed 9.42 lbs. 5th place went to Debbie & Mark Davis of Memphis, TN. with five bass that weighed 9.16 lbs.
The Big Bass of the Tournament was caught by Sandra Jackson & Charles Adams, a 4.75 lb largemouth. They got about $500 dollars and a Hammer Rod for their effort.
Our next tournament is at Enid Lake on July 18, 2004. We have rented the pavilion for that tournament to help with the heat. We will weigh – in at the pavilion at 3:00 p.m.
