Yamaha / Robalo Forge Exclusive Agreement

Yamaha Marine Group today announced it will become the exclusive supplier of outboard power to Robalo Boats, one of the industry’s finest makers of offshore fishing boats. In addition, Yamaha will provide technical support designed to advance the boat company’s future growth.

“In recent years, Robalo has even further enhanced the brand’s reputation for providing a truly premium fishing boat,” said Mark Tracy, Yamaha Marine Group OEM assistant division manager. “We are proud to be associated with a company that engineers quality. Robalo uses Kevlar® in their hulls, stainless steel for all their fittings and, now, Yamaha outboards exclusively for boats packaged with outboard power.”

“We make a premium product, and our customers expect the best in customer service and reliability,” said Dave Sundin, Robalo marketing director. “Yamaha brings value to the relationship by providing a product our customers can count on. At the same time, its outboards are known for reliability, which is a great asset to our dealers and our customers.”

Robalo markets offshore fishing boats through out the world and has been recognized by NMMA® for C.S.I. Customer Satisfaction. Robalo Boats, LLC is a subsidiary of Marine Products Corporation that is publicly traded on the New York Stock Exchange® (MPX).

Yamaha Marine products are marketed throughout the United States and around the world. Yamaha Marine Group, based in Kennesaw, Ga., supports its 2,200 U.S. dealers and OEM partners with marketing, training and parts for Yamaha’s full line of products and strives to be the industry leader in reliability, technology and customer service. Yamaha Marine is the only outboard brand to have earned NMMA®’s C.S.I. Customer Satisfaction Index award every year since its inception.
