ZX Performance Series From Skeeter Offers Everything Avid Tournament Anglers Need

Skeeter Boats packs its top-of-the-line ZX Performance Series of tournament-quality bass boats – the ZX250, ZX225, ZX200 and ZX190 – with all the features serious anglers need. With boats ranging from 18’5″ to 21′, the ZX Performance Series has a boat that is just right for any bass angler.

“Since our ZX Performance Series was designed with tournament anglers in mind, we loaded it with the kind of features they would want,” said Dean Burnett, National Sales Manager and Marketing Director for Skeeter. “Features like our oversized storage boxes, rod organizing systems, dual livewells with a four-pump control system and an ergonomically perfected cockpit with easy-to-read backlit controls.

“This series is also one of the most ruggedly made boats on the water. Our hulls, decks and transoms use our X-TREME composite technology to make some of the strongest fiberglass bass boats on the market. New for this year is our X-CESS Aluminum Knee Brace Assembly in the transom that enables the ZX Performance boats to support the newer generation of large displacement, high-performance outboards like the Yamaha 3.1-liter VMAX 250.”

Some of the numerous standard features on all four ZX Performance models include:

Aluminum-frame deck structure for precise fit of lids and easy-access

compartment (front and rear on ZX250 and ZX225; rear only on ZX200).

Three built-in, retractable Rod Staze keep gear stowed while underway.

Digital Cockpit Command Center (with tachometer, speedometer, volt meter, fuel gauge, water pressure gauge, trim gauge, horn, tinted windshield and 12- volt accessory outlet) keeps the driver informed of the boat’s operation.

A dash-mounted Teleflex TFXIDF Flasher with water temp readout and a rear transducer lets anglers see where the fish are hiding.

Tilt hydraulic steering offers easier handling.

Bow panel with trolling motor power receptacle and trim switch for controlling the foot-operated MotorGuide 782V Tour Edition trolling motor with

Gator II mount. With 82-lbs. of thrust, the MotorGuide will hold the boats in

position even in windy conditions.

6-gauge trolling motor wiring system with three battery trays provides plenty of reliable power.

Fishing Chair with 13″ fixed-height extension and bike seat with Power Pro Pole offer added comfort while fishing.

Oversized bow and stern casting decks allow anglers to cast without worry.

Livewell system featuring independent Fill, Recirculate and Drain modes, adjustable livewell pump timer and pump out keeps fish alive for weigh-in.

Dual-Bank Battery Charger with external charge indicator and charging inlet keeps batteries fully charged.

Driver and passenger glove boxes and drink holders keep smaller items stowed.

Built-in coolers (In-floor and under passenger seat on ZX250 and ZX225, under seat only on ZX200) keep cool drinks close at hand.

Tandem-axle trailer with disc brakes, spare tire and rear ratchet tie-downs (Single-axle on ZX190) provide stable towing to and from the lake.

Powered by Yamaha outboards mounted to a standard heavy-duty 12″ jackplate to raise the motor enabling higher performance.
